For those in need

You will take home some frozen and freshly prepared meals, fresh vegetables, fruit and pantry items as well as bread or rolls. Everyone attending receives a box and goodie bag that has been sorted by our team of volunteers

At Dromana we are providing food for over seventy families weekly.

Second Bite  collect and distribute wasted food to over 1,000 community food programs across Australia, and supplies all food completely free of charge. Second Bite works to make a real difference to people’s lives, providing more than just a meal - they provide support, hope and friendship to those doing it tough.

To date they have rescued and distributed the equivalent of over 100 million meals.

On Thursdays Second Bite deliver one or two pallets of fresh food including pantry items, fruit and vegetables

Our volunteers pack boxes of fruit and vegies and boomerang bags with pantry items and bread. We have extra supplies from Coles Mc Crae, Aldi, Bakers Delight Dromana, Torello Farmgate and the Pier street Bakery.

Locals and friends also  drop off tinned food, long-life milk, eggs and vegetables from their gardens.
