We offer five-hour sessions from Monday to Friday from 9am to 2pm.
Classified under the Children’s Services Regulations 2010 as a Limited Hours Type 2 Service, means your child may be cared for and educated for up to 5 hours per day and currently for no more than 15 hours per week.
We are licensed to care for up to 16 children per session and we operate 1:4 staff/child ratio for children under three and 1: 11 for children over three years of age.
Take-A-Break at Dromana Community House Inc. is a warm, friendly and secure environment where children are cared for and educated by our experienced team.
Our Early Learning Program is aimed at children's specific developmental stages and during each session children will take part in age-appropriate craft activities, enjoy songs, stories, puzzles and games that enhance and develop enquiring minds and social skills.
Play based outside activities include sand and water play in our mud kitchen, bike riding and ball games.
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is the main way the Government assists families with their child care fees, and is targeted to provide greater assistance to low and middle income families.
