Dear Dromana Community House
Oh How I miss you, let me count the ways.
Your warm and welcoming hug as I walk over your threshold and the way you whisper in my ear ‘so glad you could come’
The tender way you support all your visitors, with a friendly smile, a hot cuppa and a good chat.
All the wonderful activities that you provide to fill our hearts with joy, singing, art, family history, walking and much more.
But most of all I miss the friendly faces, the smiles and laughter and song, the magpies, the sound of children playing, the buzzing of sewing bees and the lady who lives there....
Oh and the tree, I miss the beautiful tree

Free Three year old session in 2022
To dream big, our kids need the best start in life.
From next year, Victorian Government approved services including Dromana Community House will be offering five hours a week of a funded three-year-old kindergarten program, making it more affordable for families to give their child two years of kindergarten.
Just like with four-year-old kindergarten, three-year-old kindergarten programs are tailored to meet the needs of each child. Qualified teachers support children’s learning and development through play-based learning.
For those families that have children attending unfunded three-year-old programs in sessional (standalone) kindergarten services, there will also be reduced fees.
Time: Thursdays 9 am to 10 am
You will take home some frozen meals, fresh vegetables, fruit and pantry items as well as bread or rolls.
Providing food for over seventy families each week.
