We are an incorporated not-for-profit association overseen by a volunteer community-based committee of management and a team including Tracey Trueman the Manager,Kerrie Harris the Enrolment Coordinator, and staff who support and coordinate a range of activities designed for and by the community.
We offer a range of low cost programs including health and well being activities, art and craft, occasional childcare via our Early Learning Centre, information, referral, support and friendship.
It is our mission to identify and meet community needs in our beautiful beachside township and provide a warm welcome to each and every person who steps through our door.
Our catchment area includes Dromana, Safety Beach, Red Hill, Main Ridge and McCrae but holiday makers and visitors to the area are also considered part of the Dromana Community House family.
We receive funding from the Victorian State Government via the Neighbourhood House Coordination Program , while the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council provides our premises and operational support. We are also grateful for generous donations from local businesses and community groups including the Rotray Club of Dromana, Uniting Church Dromana, St Mark's Anglican Church , the Bendigo Community Bank, Torello Farmgate and the Lions Club of Dromana.
We rely on the goodwill of committed volunteers community partnerships

Neighbourhood House
"Offering a range of activities designed by the members and community."
A neighbourhood house is where people can become involved in community events, find out about other services or activities in the area, join a class or support group or take up an activity for fun and enjoyment.
At Fifteen Gibson street we bring people together to connect, learn and contribute in thelocal community through social, educational, recreational and support activities.
Neighbourhood Houses welcome people from all walks of life. This inclusive approach creates opportunities for individuals and groups to enrich their lives through connections they might not otherwise make.
The Manager's position is funded for 25 hours per week by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing and employed by the Committee of Managment to implement a program of activies for the community, partner with organisations, build strong relationships and add value to the community.
